Sorry, I should have added that there are currently issues with prioritisation on the desktop system filtering through to the mobile apps so, even if this is the problem, it may not be easy to fix

If that's the problem, then there are more issues than just priority-flow-through.

NA26 (Nestle Aland NT) was in 8th place, behind every English Bible other than the outdated NASB (not-95) and AV. I don't use either one of those, so never considered this an issue.

I've now checked further....

1) You are correct that OT references are fine, NT are not.

2) The OT references link to NASB (old version)

Not sure what to try next. If changes to my priority list don't flow through to the 'droid, I may be stuck for a while.

From your comments about OT references, it sounds like your Android environment is treating the old NASB before Bibles you would expect to see first.

Can you show the prioritised list (in order) for your first 8 Bibles?

NOTES:

1) This is my adjusted priority list, following your suggestion. The results have not changed

2) What I adjusted: removed old NASB, thus moving NA26 to the bottom of the list. (I have other resources below these; Bibles are at the top of my overall list.)

As you can see, if priorities mean anything at all in the 'droid app, I have no reason to expect to see Greek coming up in a Bible reference. :-D

Yes, I agree that if prioritisation were to flow through properly this should work. However, my experience is that it is not reliable and it can take weeks for a prioritisation change on the desktop to filter through to the Android environment.

The only thing I can think of is that at some stage when you were setting up prioritisation the Greek was above the others and this one "stuck" and the modifications have not filtered through.

I can't think of anything to do to fix this until either prioritisations and preferences are being synchronised properly or until we have the ability to specify a preferred Bible within the application (which you can currently do on the iOS app).

I have no idea when either of these will be available in the Android environment.

Something strange has happened with your account. I checked the resource server and a Greek New Testament (I can't recall the LLS, I'm at home but will update this thread tomorrow) is indeed your default Bible which is why this is happening. The Logos iOS version has an option to select a default Bible (unlike the Android version) and this overrides the Logos Desktop setting but doesn't sync back to the Desktop from what I understand, thus giving some autonomy to the mobile device.

If you had at one time selected a Greek default Bible on iOS/Logos that might have been the cause of this issue - if not, I'm puzzled. There is already a case for adding a default Bible function to Logos/Android but that's not helpful to you now.

I'll see what I can do to help you tomorrow, and thanks for your patience.

I didn't think of this before until reading it here - http://community.logos.com/forums/t/45097.aspx - you should try logging into Biblia.com and changing your default Bible there, and then it should sync with Android. Let me know how this goes.

This is the workaround needed. THANK YOU [A] !!

Until we can set the default Bible in the Android app, just:

Log in to Biblia.com, go to the library, and scroll through the bibles.
You will see a green check mark next to your current Preferred Mobile Bible.
Click on the circle to the left of any bible to make that your Preferred Mobile Bible.

This setting applies to all mobile apps. It can be viewed/updated at Biblia.com or on iOS. Someday it will be viewable/settable on the 'droid app.
