Greek tools
Does anyone know if there is a way to search a section of scripture and have it display all nouns or verbs? I would like to do some specific words studys related to my Greek II class. Right now I am looking these verses: Romans 5:1-11 Philippians 2:5-11 James 1:1-21 and would like to study just the verbs right now.

Hi Joshua
You need to do a morphological search like the one below
For details on constructing a morph search please see http://wiki.logos.com/Morphological_Search
Any questions or problems, please post back

i think i am having trouble getting the range and the morphology lined up. I am using the UBS 4 since that is the one that we have for class

Nevermind i changed a few things and that worked perfectly!!

Using Text Comparison, found 0 % differences between NA 27 and UBS 4. Another option for verbal study is visual filter highlighting. Noticed James 1 has a number of imperatives.
Wiki Extended Tips for Visual Filters has => Examples of visual filters with a screen shot of five Logos Greek Morphology visual filters and highlighting palette.

You might find http://www.logos.com/product/1803/syntax-of-the-moods-and-tenses-in-new-testament-greek a useful resource. This is in base packages Original Languages and up so you may have it in your library depending on what package you have.
You might also find the Exegetical Guide useful
Details of how to use this are found at http://wiki.logos.com/Exegetical_Guide
Hope this helps
