I own everything I want to own by all these authors already anyway, so I was mainly just voting to help push up the ones I hope others will buy. I voted for Waltke, Packer and Fee because I know them, have studied under them. Others just based on personal preference -- authors that have influenced me like N.T. Wright, Richard Bauckham, Chesterton, Schaeffer, McCheyne, à Kempis. When it came to ones I had little opinion about or didn't care for, I voted pretty randomly, except I made sure to vote against a couple of ones I have a particular distaste for, who will remain nameless. The hardest vote of all for me was having to eliminate Torrance in the first round, but I picked Bauckham over him.
I'm still hoping Wright catches up to Lloyd-Jones in this round and am sorry to see Packer losing to Carson but I figured it would be inevitable. Wright vs. Carson in the final round would a be much more interesting matching than Lloyd-Jones vs. Carson. Carson would beat Lloyd-Jones hands down.

I don't see why. There are far more titles from Lloyd-Jones and Wright that would interest me at a 75% discount than there are from Carson. Hopefully my fellow voters will agree! [:D]
Nothing against Lloyd-Jones, but why is getting more votes than N.T. Wright is simply befuddling me.
I voted for the one guy that lost during the first round, only to have my other vote shut down for fouls in the second…..
