New IPAD and Electronic Magazines
I now have an IPAD 3 and electronic magazines are fantastic. LOGOS, please, please take the Bible Study Magazine into the 21st Century and offer an IPAD version for current issues. (I realize that you have given me the privilege of double purchasing current issues in print and old issues in LOGOS), but I only want the magazine on the IPAD.
I firmly believe this would elevate what I believe is already a 4-star magazine into a 5-star magazine. Why? Search capabilities, addition of video and audio, links to other stories, interviews, etc. Just check out any high quality magazine that is already offered on the IPAD and I think you will see what I'm talking about.
Thanks for a wonderful product.

+ 1. I know Logos must have their own reasons for not publishing it electronically at the moment, but it does amaze me that a software company like Logos hasn't done so yet. I also will jump in and subscribe as and when it is made electronically. Until then, I have more than enough paper arriving daily by mail! [:)]

I think the issue is related to how circulation numbers are counted… with that said, YES!!! I want it on my iPad! In fact, I let my subscription expire because of it. [6]

Thanks for all the votes for an iPad version of BSM, and I'm glad to hear you enjoy the publication. We are considering all of our electronic options for BSM and plan to make the archive available at some point. More news to come as things progress.

I couldn't agree more. I have a subscription expiring in October and one in December. Neither of which I will renew if paper is my only option. It's a tough decision as I'm a charter member and don't think there has been an article that I haven't read. Come on LOGOS, you have 6 months before my subscription expires [;)]

I'm in. Make it digital and it's gold.

I also would subscribe if it becomes digital. It would be nice to have articles link directly to our library.
It is currently produced in a digital format for the print shop. It would just need to be modified to be compatible. Logos would no longer have the cost of postage and the number of subscribers would likely increase.
This is exciting. [Y]

I bought my iPad specifically to get rid of paper. If it goes digital I am in.

Will Logos' rule of buy once own on every platform still apply or will you charge those of us who have made BSM successful by subscribing to the print version. My hope is that you will follow your longstanding policy with BSM as well and subscribers will be rewarded with a free digital copy?

This is an interesting concept. Does paper entitle us to electronic in the eyes of LOGOS? One thing LOGOS should consider is product utility. I have saved every issue of BSM, but I've never went back and looked at a prior issue. Why? Lack of utility. I may remember something that I think was in a prior BSM issue, but I'm not going to look through 20 back issues to try to find the article. LOGOS is about resources and utility. Having all BSM issues electronically (that I've paid for in paper) would bring the value of BSM in line with the rest of my LOGOS resources (but I won't pay for them twice).

I don't think we have to worry about this. I'm pretty sure Logos will make good on their promise of buying a resource once and getting it on all platforms. If they don't that would be a major shift in their past practices and indicate a real shift in integrity. I'm not worried.
