Need to reduce amount of Logos email
Friends, I am receiving 2 or 4 Logos.com emails a day and it's a bit much for me. The only thing I have checked in my account profile for notifications is "pre-publications." I don't mind keeping that, but the "March Madness" flood, "Logos Sales," "Logos Talk," etc. need to go. I could filter and block, but I'd rather cut the flow at the source. I'm sure I clicked "yes" somewhere to initiate this. I just can't find the off switch. Any suggestions.?
Thanks,
Steve

- Goto www.logos.com
- Ensure that you are logged in, then click "Account" in the upper right of the screen, right beside "Sign Out"
- Now click on "Notifications", and deselect all Email List categories that you no longer want them to email you.
- Click on the orange "Update" and you're done!
- Getting quite a few mails on Proclaim and Android, in spite of having deliberately not checked those mailing lists. They slip them into the other feeds anyway.
- Getting lots of mails on resources I either already have, or have already ordered.
- Getting several mails on very similar resources that were put on prepub at the same time, when they could easily have shared the same e-mail.

Steve, you have total control of what Logos emails to you. Follow these steps:
"I read dead people..."
I've noticed the volume stepping up lately, too. I'm going to have to go tweak things to control the flood. I thought I had it set at a level I was comfortable with before, but they've obviously started tripling or quadrupling the number of messages they send out for various categories of messages, and that's not good.
Yeah, the number of emails I get from them lately is borderline absurd... but I'm wary of unsubscribing because I don't want to miss out on something that I may be interested in, which is why I subscribed to begin with.

I agree and feel the same way. I wonder if a gentle email to marketing might point out that the recent volume increase has become annoying. They will probably just say "unsubscribe from whatever lists you are getting too much email on" but that's not really what we want.

Agreed, it has become too much. What I find most annoying, though, are things like:
Mac Pro (late 2013) OS 12.6.2
At the bottom of your email there should be a link to allow you to unsubscribe from those emails.
Help links: WIKI; Logos 6 FAQ. (Phil. 2:14, NIV)
Richard, of COURSE there's a link to unsubscribe from those emails. Wish I'd thought of that myself! [:$]
Thanks,
Steve
