DON"T get me wrong. I love my Logos. It's the first thing I turn on in the morning. I've been instrumental in selling for you probably close to 30 Logos programs over the past 4 yrs. plus it has really helped in breathing new life for my passion for Gods Word!!!

However, I'd like to have total control over what’s in my Library or what’s NOT. Somehow (I think through Perseus) some stuff got onto or into my Library that has No commonality with the Christian Faith. Therefore I'd like to have the ability (and maybe pleasure) of hitting the "Delete" key and un-cluttering my data base.

I understand that some liberal thinking people like to read dead literature - so let them, but give the rest of us the tools to purify (we think) our library.

I don't think it's fair that we are subjected to the recommendations of others anymore that think they should be limited to my filters.

Did you try this: http://wiki.logos.com/Hiding_Books

This removes any book(s) you want. You will no longer see them in your library, they won't show up in searches, they will be deleted from your hard drive, and Logos won't update them for you.

A bit condescending this morning, are we?

Even Paul made use of "dead literature" to point people to the one true God. While not in the same category as Paul, here's a video by Logos showing how these resources can be helpful to your study of scripture: http://youtu.be/Yo8MgoI2p6k. The classics can prove very beneficial to the Christian if time is taken to learn how to use them. And this says nothing of the benefit and insight that can come from just reading them!

But anyway, Perseus is only in your library because you put it
there. Call up Logos and have them remove your license to it, or hide
the resources individually by going through Preferences and dragging
resources into the box that offend you.

Thanks for the reminder about my condecending. Sorry! First think in the morning my guard probably down when i see something so repugnant on my HOME page. You feel violated.

I asked about this issue some long time ago and didn't get a clear answer. Thanks for clarifying a solution. It'll be done today.

What appeared on the home page? Was is a book that was referenced or a picture? if is was a picture, you can find out what source it came from.

One can always turn off what appears or does not appear on the home page through the customize feature in the lower left hand part of the screen.

If you want to completely remove the Perseus resources, call up Logos Customer Services and ask them to re-lock your licence for these resources. After a few days you should find that these resources will disappear from your library for good without the need to manually "hide" them.
