Auto capitalisation in notes editor

Whe I complete a sentence in the notes editor using a full stop (period) and press the space bar, the "shift" button turns blue allowing for a capital letter to be automatically inserted at the start of the next sentence.

This is helpful.

However, if I then press "return" to start a new paragraph, the "shift" button goes back to its default position and the start of this new paragraph is not capitalised automatically.

Could this behaviour be changed so that the "auto cap" feature is preserved in this case?
