(I suspect I will already have all of them, but I do appreciate the initiative!)
Thank you for the info. I don't have this one, and, in fact haven't read it... I did hear a lot about it in some Thomas Merton, though.
I prefer the Dark Night of the Soul, but St John of the Cross is definitely one of my favorite writers.
THANK YOU for letting us know! One of my favorite authors, too....
Please keep us up to date if you think about it. [:)]
Thanks!!!

I'm confused. When I clicked through the Facebook page to checkout I still see the price. Do I click proceed before the coupon code will process. Seems like when you go through the process for the free book of the month the cart total is $0.
James -
When I clicked on the link highlighted in yellow in the first screen shot, I get the shopping cart shown in the second screen shot.
Thanks Bama, but I'm still getting the full price checkout screen? Maybe if I close out explorer and reopen it will work.
Try using a different browser, such as safari, firefox, or chrome.
That worked, thanks!

Just bumping this in case someone's missed it.
I have not seen anything for Easter 2 as of yet.
I think it will be tomorrow…[:)]
I must confess that when I saw that this thread was updated, I thought that they had gotten properly liturgical and released the 2nd book for Easter 2. Guess I will have to wait until tomorrow.
Sorry if I mislead you. [:P] I bumped the thread because it's the last day to get the first book, and I didn't want people to find out about it tomorrow when it's too late. [;)]

It is no longer free. [:'(]
It is no longer free.
Yes, it is. I tested by opening another browser where I'm not logged in, and there was no problem adding it to the cart:
It even says it's free tomorrow as well.
Did you use the link on the Facebook page?
It is! [:)]
Go to http://www.facebook.com/logosforcatholics
Youl'll see the box at the lefthand side
following the link will immediately put the book into your Logos.com Shopping Cart along with the code and the cart update reflecting the code. This also reveals that the download is free until April 16th
.
Enjoy!
Edit: I messed up the location of my saved screenshot files - now I see fgh was quicker than me. I leave my post to show the facebook link.
Is there a new one free this week? Or is it the same book free throughout Easter?
Take a look at the original post. [;)]
Thanks for the find. btw. it was still free as I just downloaded it now. Cheers.
And it was on Easter 1 that they announced that they are giving away a book a week. Therefore, you would think that Easter 2 would be the day that they give away book 2.

Don't think so. Look at my OP. It says Monday morning.

I suspect that all the books will be PD titles that are included in various Catholic packages. Logos is doing this to market their larger collections by getting the word out that they do have these good classic works.
New book is up on www.facebook.com/logosforcatholics. It is some Newman tracts this week.
Noted Tracts: Theological and Ecclesiastical by John Henry Newman is also included in Catholic Library Builder (238 vols.)
