How to search all the books in a collection on the iPad 2?

Does anyone know how to search  all the books in a collection such as ""the complete works of Van Til" on iPad? I want to find all the occurances of a word or phrase in just his collection. So far I get no hits on words I know are used several dozen times in his works. I don't want hits from any othe resources.

    Hi Curtis - and welcome to the forums.

    In the search window on the iPad when you select the Basic Search then the default search parameter is "Entire Library" as shown in the button next to the search window.

    If you press that button you can select the collection you want to use - these collections shown here are synchronised from your desktop environment (assuming you have one).

    Graham it is my understanding that this is currently not working well, as the new syncing process hasn't been released on the mobile collections display yet.  Your older collections should show though.

    Correct. Collections have not migrated to sync v2 (yet). My devices have old collections, some of which have already been deleted. Its "frozen" in time. I am going to take a wild guess and say that user experiences may be varied, just as reading plans were under the 1.x release. Some users had no problems, but most did.
