Todd - Faithlife is currently in private beta and is not available to the public. Sorry, but I do not know when Logos intends to make it public.

why would they broadcast that there's a free code going around and get us little people excited if there isn't one for the public... saddens me i would love to get a subscription but times are hard...

    Vanessa,

First welcome to the Logos forums.

Right now any subscription would be of small value since Faithlife is still under development. It was Logos' intention to go live with Faithlife by now but they held it back to develop it further. The web site was developed with an earlier release in mind and I think Logos just didn't update it to remove the subscription option and the free code reference. So really you aren't missing the real Faithlife.

I think Logos will offer at least a free trial of Faithlife once it goes live. We may be getting much closer as a significant piece of the functionality of Faithlife is in Logos 4.5b which will soon be released from Beta testing. I'd expect to see Faithlife go live shortly thereafter.

This launch got a little botched primarily because Apple doesn't let them know when things go live in the App store. Logos was not trying to stir up any excitement, unless you believe conspiracy theorists who have suggested they did this purposely like a company leaks new products and claims their secret. I don't believe that. When some of us who where not in the know saw the evidence of this release we got all excited and drew attention to it making everyone else interested.

Kind of a good annoyance if you're Logos. Plenty of companies wish their beta releases would generate as much excitement.
