I am frequently in an area where I don't have wifi for my Kindle Fire. Until Logos develops offline search capability for the Android I need a good concordance for finding verses.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Normally peoiple tend to use a concordance tied to their main bible (or the one they grew up with, to find the verses one remembers by their words). That said: There aren't many concordances in Logos at all (what I find in the type in my library is nearly all mis-tagged, imho).
On my machine I find only one http://www.logos.com/product/10354/new-american-standard-updated-edition-exhaustive-concordance-of-the-bible - according to product page it works offline, be sure to buy the bundle http://www.logos.com/product/8734/nas-electronic-bible-library which is cheaper than this one resource. The bundle will also include the bible, in case you shouldn't have it...
If you have a base package it should be included (it's in the Christian Home Library) so we all should have it.

Personally learned type:concordance includes a number of topical concordances:

Likewise noticed that NASB Concordance is included in many base packages.

There is one more traditional concordance in Logos: Everyday Access. It is published by Nelson but is based on the New Century Version, not exactly a basic 'Everyday' version, but most of Logos' base packages include it.

Here's the info on the Nelson site for the print copy: http://www.thomasnelson.com/everyday-access.html
most of Logos' base packages include it.
Mark, It is part of the Nelson unlock. It isn't on the package comparison page. I didn't get it when I bought Logos. Is there info on that somewhere else?
Also the New Century Bible itself has a topical concordance at the end, but I'm sure its not exhaustive.
Mark, It is part of the Nelson unlock.
I was referring to the NCV Bible not the concordance. Most Logos packages have that:
I'm a little confused by the OP's original question... Doesn't L4's search function operate exactly like a concordance? See Paul and Richard's excellent explanations HERE. If I've misunderstood the question, I apologize; however, if one has any of the reverse interlinear Bibles, then a concordance type query may be accomplished very quickly with a Bible Word Study (BWS) without even building a query using the search tool.

Ronald stated:
He can't search while offline, thus the need for a built-in concordance.
Thanks Mark! I didn't realize that Search was disabled in offline mode. Appreciate the education. [Y]

It isn't that search is disabled offline… but rather that most searches happen on the logos servers. The mobile app isn't a full blown version of Logos and to mimic some of its features, Logos utilizes their servers. You can still do some searches offline.

Sorry Alabama!
This thread was started in the context of the Android app which still doesn't have offline search.

Thanks for the clarification Graham [:)]
Thanks for the NAS concordance recommendation. It's just what I was looking for.
Hi Ronald,
I sometimes use the NAS concordance even on my laptop with L4. When? When I want to know all the different Greek/Hebrew words that COULD underlie a particular English word.
When? When I want to know all the different Greek/Hebrew words that COULD underlie a particular English word.
Observation: Bible Word Study for an English word can have Greek Word and Hebrew Word sections (in a variety of translations with associated original language sources) to show Greek and Hebrew words that have been translated as a particular English word.
