Favorites and Home are limited

Favorites reflects what I have in desktop Logos but not useful in the phone app. (Vyrso 1 beta) as I don't use those resources there. I can add a resource to Favorites (via Action menu) AND it Sync's to the desktop but will there be an action to change the folder name from Vyrso Favorites, other than rename on the Desktop?

As Home = Library why have Home in the menu?

I still need a way to filter Library content...

The home option should not be available in the Vyrso read menu and a case has been written up to address that. Thanks!

    Regarding Favorites:

Each app has a special app folder for storing Favorites in:

    • Vryso - Vyrso Favorites
    • Logos - Mobile Favorites
    • Biblia - Favoritos móviles

New favorites are always added to the app specific folder. If the app specific folder does not exist one gets created. I would recommend not deleting/renaming the Vyrso Favorites folder because the next time you add a favorite it will get created again.

Regarding the ability to filter Library content there is a case for this.

We are way beyond "a case" in my opinion. [:)] With a bunch of people having thousands of books in the library this has become a necessity.

This isn't a good design because I already renamed mine on the Desktop and it sync'd to the phone! You may as well allow it to be renamed on the phone.

    Hi George,

Can you be more specific about how filtering Library content doesn't work for you in Logos on Windows (unless I misunderstood your comment)?  Thanks!

    Hi Dave,

As you know, the current design separates Favorites folder names based on the application (Vyrso, Faithlife, etc.).  I'll write up a case recommending that Desktop Logos should be prevented from renaming mobile Favorites folders.  Thanks!

If you are going to maintain this segregation then you also have the potential issue of deleting desktop Favorites on the mobile device! If would be better if they were independent of device in terms of creating folders and deleting, as I can carry my reading/study from one device to another in a transparent fashion.

We plan to add favorites management to the mobile apps in a future release.

Now, there's that phrase "future release" once again to comfort us...
