If I am, for example, reading and highlighting the KJV, is it possible to transfer any highlights I have made to a different version, say, the NIV?

If you attach the highlight to the verse (theres a little switch) then it will appear in all Bibles I think.

Unfortunately no. Notes can be attached to a "reference", or to a "selection." Highlight notes are by "selection" by definition and are only viewable in that particular translation.

This question comes up quite frequently. There are some other possibilities for things Logos could do, but they would be fundamentally different than what highlights are currently. When you create a highlight, you are able to select anything down to the character. Logos could create a feature where an entire verse was highlighted, but it would be something other than the current highlight feature. Likewise, they could create something attached to the underlying lemma. This would allow for words to be highlighted in various translations, but it could look quite funny in another translation since word order may vary significantly.

That's what I was thinking.  I can only imagine how those highlights would render in The Message!

    LOL!

Actually, that method wouldn't work for the message… It would only work for translations with a reverse interlinear attached.
