Just wanted to share the good news that LOGOS and Concordia Publishing House are entering a new working relationship that, in my opinion, is good news for customers....100% digital.

cool.. good to hear
Interesting publisher's blog entry.
I suspect that that phrase was the topic of extended discussion. Good to hear that they have come to terms!
On the downside, as Logos removes other marketing channels they control the pricing. Many of us have benefited financially from resources such as CPH's being available outside the Logos channel. I know this is in Logos' interest and they can justify higher prices by offering free support, but for those of us who need no support, it will probably mean (for the most part) higher prices. Just saying that this move probably isn't all in the customer's favor.
As far as I know, we, Concordia Publishing House, were the last publisher LOGOS works with that still sold LOGOS resources on CD-ROM directly to its customers. Customers must appreciate the fact that there are high expenses involved, no matter what the channel or method used, in delivering these kinds of resources digitally.

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe the next time I see a really good 3rd party deal on Luther's Works I should actually jump on it. Might be the last chance. I've seen it as low as $125 in the past, and Logos now charges $260.
But then, on the other hand, Logos might introduce a Lutheran base package/library builder, or put them in a Christmas bundle, and that would almost certainly make them cheaper still. Decisions, decisions... (not that I have to make any unless and until there actually is a 3rd party sale...)

I don't think so. Nelson and InterVarsity still do. IVP may actually only sell through Amazon and CBD but you can order CD ROMs from within their site.
Logos has worked to make this a relic of the past. They are almost there.

I emailed the party who was offering it for that amount a few months back and asked if it was still available. I rejoiced when I found out they were glad to still honor that price and it is now in my library.

Possibilities...possibilities...
Thanks for the heads up. [:)]
That's very nice to hear!
The Lutheran Study Bible was the first Logos resource I got (and now I have Scholar's silver + many other resources). That's an excellent resource and I have recommended it for many and it's great to see it (along with Luther's Works) back in Logos.
