Community Pricing outpacing development?

Am I the only volume resource buyer who is seeing far more new content lined up awaiting production than new content getting released? It seems that for many months now an average of 3-5 items a week reach the production cost level in CP, but only 3-5 per month are getting produced and released. The backlog of content I've made the commitment to buy has grown 10-fold in the last 5 months. Evidence I assume of Bob's repeated response that Logos can't find/hire enough developers to meet the demand.

    the dollar amount of my open pre-pub orders is over 50% higher than it was earlier this year. On the other hand the number shipping is taxing my billfold. I hope they don't go too much faster.

    I think tagging resources has its own staff that is separate from the understaffed development.

    It would not make sense to hire enough people to keep up with the current peak and get numbers into production at the same rate that CP has been getting them past the post in the last few weeks.

    1. The number of resources getting past the 100% post in the last few weeks still seems to be ahead of the number of new  ones that are being added to CP. [:P]
    2. The number of finished resources released each week is still probably significanty ahead of the rate that new worthwhile ones are being written. [:O]
    3. Many of us are relying on the significant delay needed to get these ready for release as that is the only way we will be able to pay for what we currently have on order....... [:S]
