Greetings,

There is a button to the right of the display option on the bible views that I am unsure of its purpose.  When I choose it, the word "now" is highlighted in the text.  Can anyone give further information on this?

Mesi.

That is the reverse interlinear button. If you have a base package with this feature, you should see the following below:

Figured it was something like that.  Further, I see certain words highlighted, was wondering why.

Your bible is a little cramped, although I don't think that should matter. I have opened up the NKJV to the same passage as you, and floated the resource. Here is what it looks like:

Notice that "Now" is highlighted in the English (NKJV). Down below, there is a column that is highlighted. In the following screen shot, I highlighted another word (not shown) so that the word "Now" is brought next to the left side. The Top line is the "surface" text (i.e. the NKJV word). The second line is the manuscript form, and the third line is the manuscript transliteration. The next two lines are the "lemma" and its transliteration. (A "lemma" is the dictionary entry for a word. For example, you don't look up "jumping" in a dictionary, but you look up "jump." In the sentence "The boy went jumping down the hall," "jumping" would be the manuscript form, while "jump" would be the lemma.) The last three lines are morphological information, strongs number, and the louw-nida number.

In your second screen shot, I see that the Reverse Interlinear stuff is at the bottom, but it looks like most of the info is hidden. If you right click on the word "surface" (on the bottom left hand side), you can add back in the things you see in my screen shots above.

What do you mean by cramped?  I prefer less info in the window for now.  Yes, I have most all of that hidden since I don't use it much at the moment.  I use mostly dictionaries.  Is the highlighting random?  That is really the question I had.  Thank you for the info.
