BUG: Issue with Bible verse range in Esther

Hello!

I was trying to create a reading plan in Logos 4 for my NABRE Bible and encountered a problem with the book of Esther. When I enter the reference range of "Esther A-1", the box turns red as if there is an error. I can enter "Esther A,1" and it works, but unfortunately will not put those two readings on the same day.

It looks like the range box thinks that chapters A-F are at the end of Esther, even though when it creates the plan, it puts them before chapter 10 (still incorrect). For example, the range "Esther 10-F" with a 7 session reading plan yields "Esther A:1-11,Esther A:12-B:7,Esther C:1-11,Esther C:12-30,Esther D,Esther E & Esther 10,Esther F".

Just FYI, the correct order of Esther is A,1,2,3,B,4,C,D,5,6,7,8,E,9,10,F.

Is there a workaround for this?

Wonder about creating a reading plan for NABRE with passage list:

Es:A,Es1-3,Es:B,Es4,ES:C-D,Es5-8,Es:E,Es9-10,Es:F

I appreciate your reply, but as I already stated, making ranges such as "Esther A,1" do indeed work. What doesn't work is a range like "Esther A-3" or "Esther C-6".

However, it seems that perhaps my question is moot anyways because it seems that Logos does not allow me to specify what to read each day. I wanted to enter a daily reading plan with 365 ranges separated by commas, expecting Logos to use the divisions I specified. It seems that it will not do that and try to balance out the load on its own.

So knowing this... is there a way specify a reading list where I tell Logos what I want to read everyday?

You could create a personal book using personal book builder. This would work in L4, but since personal books don't yet sync, it would be unavailable on a mobile device.

I guess I'll submit it as an enhancement request. BTW, which forum do I use to report the bug for specifying ranges in Esther? It obviously isn't working right.

This should be reported as a bug - the word BUG: at the start of the message and a link to this thread (or change the title on this thread).

No ,but you can make a PB lectionary that has specified readings - unfortunately we can't have multiple lectionaries appear on the ribbon.
