Bugs-please fix
Since last weeks update I've noticed 2 bugs.First, they keyboard stays in place after a note is saved. I have to leave the app and go back in for the keyboard to go away. Second, the screen rotation is locked and will not rotate freely when the iPad is tilted. Please fix ASAP, this is my favorite Bible app.

Hi Suzanne! Welcome to the forums!
I think that you may be mistaken about these being Logos bugs. Have you checked your iOS settings to see if you turned the mute switch to screen lock? As for the keyboard issue, I am a bit perplexed. I have never seen that happen. Care to upload a screen shot?

The screen is only locked on Logos Bible app. I checked iPad settings and they are fine. Pls advise how to catch screen shot on iPad. So sad to see this issue. Love the Logos Bible app!

Pls advise how to catch screen shot on iPad.
- Press and hold both iPad buttons for a couple of seconds. If you sound is up, you will hear a camera shutter sound.
- Go to the iOS "photos" app and scroll to the very bottom. Your screen shot will be there.
- Email the picture to yourself.
- Open the email on your computer and save the picture attachment somewhere you can get to it (such as the desktop)
- In the forums, use the paperclip icon to attach the photo to a thread.

I am not a programmer and I don't work for Logos. I can't tell you definitively that these aren't bugs with the app, but I am inclined to believe that they are not. I am involved in beta testing of the mobile app and have not heard of anyone else with either of these issues.
It is possible that there is an installation issue. The best suggestion I can give you right now is to delete and reinstall the app. NOTE: you will lose any downloaded resources.
It would be great to see those screen shots before you delete the app, if you get a chance.

If I have to uninstall and reinstall will I lose my Bible highlights and notes?
No. Those are on the servers and will redownload.
I thought they would be visible from my web account too, but I only see them on the iPad.
By "web account," do you mean biblia.com? Notes & highlights are not currently enabled on biblia.

Awesome news - I just restarted the iPad from shutdown and the problems are resolved. Terrific! Also good news that my notes are saved in server. I using NASB. If I buy the Bible pls confirm that my notes will not be affected. Tnx.

It depends on how you affixed notes. Notes attached to a verse reference will show up on all verses in all translations. But notes affixed to words will only show up on that translation. You know the difference because when you add a note you have two boxes at the top of the note screen. One says selection and the other says the verse you're annotating. If the verse is in blue you're attaching it to that verse. If the word selection is in blue the selected words are annotated. So if you do that in NASB, that highlight won't show up in NIV. It makes sense since the wording of the NIV and NASB are different.

I didn't catch this earlier. Is this a question? Are you asking if you purchase the NASB, will you lose the notes you have attached to the NASB? The answer is that you will not lose your notes. What you will be able to do is download your NASB for offline usage.
There are a couple of ways to purchase the NASB (outside of a base package, of course).

Thanks! I am using the free NASB now and hope the notes I've added will carry forward to the purchased version.
