Logos Beta 2 Library Low Light
I'm running HTC Evo 3d and beta 2 did fix the verse chooser in low light mode, thank you, looks very nice.
I still have a problem with contrast in the library mode in low light mode. When I write a specific word in the text panel, it has a gray background so I can see the word. When I hit space and go to next word, the highlight is gone and the first word is all black, very difficult to see.
Interestingly, this does not happen when I am searching in a specific book, only in the library.

I can confirm this for the galaxy s2 and transformer prime. The problem also exists on the about page where you choose the beta or stable channel.

We have commented about poor contrast in beta 1 (black font on grey background) yet only the verse picker has been improved in beta 2. I had a difficult time justifying Vyrso beta 1 after the long wait as all the issues were regressions and Favorites will not be complete until a "future release".

Thanks Rupert,
This issue has already been submitted to our Development department.

Dave,
Favorites work fine in Vyrso for me. In what release are they not working for you? Thanks!

To explain:
The app is much larger than the current release Vyrso and doesn't provide significant promised functionality eg. library filtering, offline search. The Favorites function is incomplete and buggy, and I couldn't get the beta channel in Beta 1 to download Beta 2. After such a long wait we get visual changes to the verse chooser that don't work properly! These things do not inspire confidence in a version that is labelled 1.0.x.

Hi Dave,
I apologize that you are so disappointed in the latest Vyrso beta. Concerning application size, at 6.64MB it is smaller than beta versions of Logos, Faithlife and Biblia. Library filtering and offline search were not promised in the 1.0 Beta 2 Vyrso release for Android (or the Logos and Faithlife beta releases), which is why they are not mentioned in the release notes. These features are being worked on. The Favorites function doesn't yet include the management capability Dave mentioned in another thread which is why you might consider Favorites incomplete (please correct me if I'm wrong). Again, I apologize that we are not moving as fast as you think we should.
Aside from that, I am interested in what ways Favorites are buggy. Visual changes to the verse picker work fine for me - can you be more specific? Thanks for your input!

Thanks for your responses, Kevin

The 0.9 version was about that size. The Vyrso 1 beta download was about 17 MB and my phone states 15 MB + 2.5 MB data.

True, but they are promised; hence my expectation for version 1.

Favorites disappoints because shortcuts go into a fixed folder which does not complement the functionality of desktop Favorites. I can rename it on the desktop, but the next favorite goes into the same folder, freshly created by the phone app. So now you have to think about a fix for the desktop app (hence Favorites is buggy).

It still lacks contrast for other users in Low Light...
BTW I'm testing Vyrso because of the initial feedback to Beta 1, so I'm not in any hurry to replace my Logos 0.9.4 app.
