Downloaded books lost

Sirs, I have moved to a new computer and Windows 7. I am still using 3.0g version. My problem is that the books I purchased and downloaded without the CDs have been lost and I don't know how to get them back - ex. Davidson's Hebrew Grammar, etc. Is there help? I have the license backups but that didn't seem to do the trick. Howard Carlson

Did u back up your resource folder? should br under C:\Program Files\Libronix DLS\Resources, if on your c drive.
If not you will have to go to ftp site and dwnlld the book ftp://ftp.logos.com/lbxbooks/ this is the file u need DAVDSINTROHEB.lbxlls
The ftp site will have all the files u will probably need.

As well as Whyndell's excellent suggestions, Howard, you probably have done the following?
A. Gone into Tools/Library Management/Synchronize Licenses ?
This will not automatically bring back those files, but it will tell Libronix 3 that the files belong to you.
B. Tools/Libronix Update OR http://www.logos.com/media/update/30gAutoUpdate.lbxupd
This will at the very least show that your 3.0g is up to date. "Sometimes" it even downloads missing resource files.
C. (The following relates to Whyndell's suggestion--it helps bring in files from that ftp site):
Update LDLS Resources http://www.logos.com/media/update/ResourceAutoUpdate.lbxupd
In addition there are two other scripts that can be run:
Update LDLS Addins
http://www.logos.com/media/update/LogosAddinsAutoUpdate.lbxupd
Update LDLS DataFile types
http://www.logos.com/media/update/DataFilesAutoUpdate.lbxupd
Regards
Steve
ps. If this ends up being a "licensing" issue, you will probably have to fight your way through the phone lines to Customer Service.

Part of the trial of Logos 3 is that you never know what files you are missing. You can go online to check your account on the Logos website to see what is listed there and compare it to what you have. As Whyndell points out you will need to re-download those books.
I'd suggest once you identify these resources and download them that you back them up on a CD so you won't have to do this again.

Hello Howard,
Go to: https://www.logos.com/login
Sign in to your account (This will take you to the Home page)
Click on the "My Account" link just to the right of your name at the top-right of the screen (This takes you to your account page)
Click on the "Order History" tab (This takes you to your list of purchases)
Scroll all the way down till you see the bright orange "Unlock & Download" buttons.
Find what you need, click & download. (This will download the resources as well as the licenses and install them)I don't mean to be simplistic but I hope this is all you need. Let us know if this isn't what you are talking about.
edit: Just go ahead and click on every "Unlock & Download" button. That way you know you got all of them. It won't hurt anything if you already have it.

I didn't know you could do that, after the fact. Thanks for posting!
Blessings.

I don't believe anyone has suggested you go to Logos' FTP site and look for your files! I just went to Logos' web site, searched for "Davidson's Hebrew" and came up with Davidson's Hebrew Grammar. The file name was shown as DAVDSINTROHEB.lbxlls. Then I went to ftp://ftp.logos.com and looked for DAVDSINTROHEB.lbxlls and there it was, waiting to be downloaded.
I imagine your other files can be similiarly downloaded as well.

I have a similar issue, I recently upgraded to a new PC with Windows 7. I have most of my books on DVD and CDs, but I am missing a few books. One that I especially miss is my NET Bible. However I don't have an orange Unblock / Download button. Any ideas.
I do have a list of my books, but with about a thousand books it would hard to find which ones are missing.
Thanks

Welcome [:D]
The NET Bible libronix file is GS_NETBIBLE.lbxlls (license included with many packages).
On Windows 7, have Logos 4 and Libronix 3 installed. My Libronix 3 installation has some locked resources. Recently compared my Logos 4 resources with Libronix 3, learned Logos 4 has some resources not available for Libronix 3 (e.g. Biblical People, Lectionaries, Timelines). While comparing *.logos4 files with *.lbxlls files noticed Libronix 3 was missing many recent purchases so used order history to download and run many update.lbxupd scripts (as suggested by Matthew C Jones).
Thanks to SteveF for Auto Update scripts, added couple data files to my Libronix 3 configuration. Appears ResourceAutoUpdate.lbxupd has increased in size to 568 KB (was 528 KB on 28 Dec 2010).
Keep Smiling [:)]

You can follow the directions above to download that collection into Libronix.
A better solution will be to install Logos 4: http://www.logos.com/4ways
Thanks,
