Passage Guide not working

When I select the passage guide tool I get the spinning pizza for about minute or so, then a message that say there was an error processing my request.
I am on a first generation iPad running The latest IOS and the latest Logos app.
I tried powering down my iPad and restarting. I also tried removing and reinstalling the app.
Searching and BWS both seem to be working.

Just to say it is currently working fine on my iPad (iPad 2) so doesn't seem to be a system-wide problem.

Thanks Graham. I just tried it again and it worked this time. Tried it earlier for about an hour an got the error. I did have my head tilted a little to the right this time so maybe that solved the problem.
