Sometimes I copy a scripture to memorize.  How can I copy the scripture without copying the footnotes?

Thanks.

Susan - I believe that you want to set "copy citations" to "no" in the Logos 4 preferences menu.

By the way, you should edit your last post and delete your email address. Spammers have bots that troll in the internet for valid email addresses. You will get an email from my post already because you have subscribed to this thread in your original post.

That works of course...a work-around.  Including or not including footnotes is a switch of functions I often use and suppose many others do as well. Another work-around is to delete the foot notes after pasting them.

Imagine a little check box by the "Copy" button that allowed one to turn on/off the footnotes!

Logos 4 has Tools => Copy Bible Verses that can specify verse format for copy and paste.

Wiki has => Copy Bible Verses

Edit: Logos 4 Mac has a Text Service with Keyboard shortcut => Mac help for Logos so can enter verse reference, optionally using abbreviation => http://www.logos.com/L4/support/biblebookabbrev (with period between chapter and verse: e.g. php4.4) , highlight verse reference, press cmd + shift + E keyboard shortcut to replace reference with passage (from Logos 4 Mac).

Option: can double click keyboard shortcut cmd + shift + E to change (in System Preferences => Keyboard => Keyboard Shortcuts - Services - Text)

If you start typing set copy in the command box you will see a dropdown like the one below. You can then drag the relevant commands to the shortcut bar and get one click buttons to turn the footnotes (or citation) on/off.
