Suggestions for iPad App

I have a number of suggestions for the iPad app. Some are more reasonable than others. Some are more critical for me than others. I use the app in multiple churches from the pew, never from the pulpit.

1) Save layouts. So I have my standard church layout. English Bible on left and Greek on right. I love to follow along in church/chapel this way. But when I want to swap over to a book, or reference a commentary, or lookup Hebrew, I have to setup my layout again for chapel. This would be SO helpful.

2) Easy Bible Version swapping. I've saved my Bible versions for offline use. It would be really awesome if Logos could listen to the speaker and find the right version (I know, I'm dreaming). But if not, a drop down in my reading pane with available Bibles would be a help rather than having to toggle over to my library.

3) Ability to scroll rather than page turn. I've seen this mentioned before but just thought I'd bring it up again.

4) Toggle to put every verse on a separate line rather than paragraph mode, much like "Bible Text Only" does in L4. I primarily use the LLS:KJV1900.

5) Include reverse interlinear inline with text. The angels in heaven would be singing!

6) I love the "back" button used for Bible reading so I can flip to a verse quickly with the preacher. What about a forward button that will return me to the original location?

7) Taking sermon Notes - Bug? - Perhaps this is a user problem. I have a note file setup in L4 called "Preaching Notes." I have setup my iPad to default to this note file (Menu ... More ... Settings ... Document for Highlights ... Preaching Notes). Instead of using highlights, I want to insert a note of comments or an outline of the sermon. But when I create the note, I can't find a way to get the iPad keyboard to display where I can type in the Note field.

In all I'm loving the iPad app and want to thank Logos for their hard work. There's no other Bible program for the iPad that comes close to having the multiple versions (for free ... base on L4 package), split screen, etc.) And it syncs with L4! Loving it!

    Some good suggestions Shawn!

Have you tried pushing and holding the back button? A list pops up. I don't have my iPad with me right now, but I think it provides a history.

I am not sure what you mean. If this doesn't help, please post a screen shot and explain more. When you add a note, tap in the note field and start typing.

Excellent! Really Excellent! Never saw that before. You've opened up a whole new world.

Embarrased. [:$] Working now. Can't explain it. I tapped, double tapped, held down. Restarted the Logos App and it's working now. Nevermind #7.
