Hi Scott
Windos os 7 on pc and 5.1.1 - newest update on iPad.
What version of Logos software are you running on Windows?
Graham

5.1.1
I think Graham is getting at that we don't recognize "5.1.1" as an edition of Logos. The current release of Logos is 4.5b, SR-1. If you don't have the right version, it will not sync! If you have been keeping your Logos up to date, then there is another issue.

5.1.1 os for iPad, 2.1.3 for logos version on iPad.

With the recent update I too have been having issues syncing. I believe it may be related to large highlighting files with which I understand there remains a problem (is this still true?) The sync icon works but with no rsulting update on either my Ipad books or computer books (I am speaking of annotations only). Furthermore, when connected to wifi, my Ipad Logos crashes when I make any annotations but works fine when not connected. My version on the Ipad is 2.1.3.243 and on my computer 4.5b SR-1 (4.52.02194).

Hi Heino! Welcome to the forums!

Did you not have problems before the update? What do you mean by "annotations"? Do some notes/highlights work?
Also, how large is your note file? The path is: Library > Application Support > Logos 4 > Documents > [Random] > Documents > Notes > notes.db
NOTE: if you are on lion, the library is hidden by default. To find it, press down the option key when viewing the "go" menu in the finder.

Thanks for the welcome. Being a Logos/Libronix user for over 5 years, I thought it to be about time.
I did not have any problems syncing highlighting and/or notes before the update (thus by annotations I mean highlights and notes). All my highlights live in one file (HHC Markers) and I use only custom highlighters that I had developed over the years. Notes live in book specific note files. For example, if I read book XYZ, all notes associated with this book live in a note file titled “Reading – XYZ” but all associated highlights live in the note file “HHC Markers” (which obviously is getting quite large). The size of the note file found in C:\Users\hclaessens\AppData\Local\Logos4\Documents\1qlgcoym.vi3\Documents\Notes is 39,750 kb
This applies only to those annotations I have made (continue to make) subsequent to the upgrade. All my previous annotations are correctly synced.
In summary – annotations made subsquently to the upgrade on the Ipad are not reflected on my computers and inversely those made on my computers are not synced with the Ipad but yet my computer syncs with my notebook.
In reference to crashing during annotating, this has always been a problem on my Ipad. I use the Ipad predominantly for reading I get around crashing by downloading the books and going into airplane mode. Every other day I would then sync with my computer on which I do most of my biblical studies.
I hope this gives you more information and thanks so much for all your support. Your commentaries have been great. Cheers HC.

Thanks. [:)]
The size of the note file... is 39,750 kb
I concur that your note file is larger than most. The devs asked for users with this problem to send in logs.
Navigate to: More > About > Send Support Info. Make sure to include that sync of notes/highlights isn't working for you. I would also include your note file size.
The only action item I could give you would be to uninstall and redownload, but in your case I think this might be unlikely to help. If you don't have many downloaded resources, it shouldn't be too big of a hassle (internet issues aside).
