Logos is Dead on my MacBook

7802.Logos4.logThe past two days have left me extremely frustrated. I was using beta 7 and just yesterday it would not start up, always crashing during the log in process. I can get it to launch holding the CMND key down and telling it to work off line but at that point no home screen will load and may menus will not show. I tried installing a fresh beta from online and even installing the current stable version. I have restarted my computer Tried to make sure LOGOS is the only thing running, I am wondering seriously if the Safari update is what killed it as after the initial 10.7.4 update it was still working. Logos is broken please help….

I am reluctant to tell you to do anything until a techie is able to look your log over… but… I wonder if the file Updates.db is the problem. The path is shown below. If you are impatient, you could try moving this file somewhere safe (where you could restore it if need be). NOTE: Since you are on Lion, your library is hidden by default. To access it, go to the "Go" menu in your finder window. When you press the "option" key, the library will appear.
Also note: The most current version of Logos is 4.5b SR1, which is on the STABLE channel. The latest "beta" is actually an older version of Logos 4.
