Question About Personal Book Builder

I built a book with 0 errors and 0 warnings. When I open the book I see some horizontal lines in the scrollbar. When I mouse over them I can see the text. I took a screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/vupTA.png

It looks like a bookmark or something. I don't see anything in the word doc that would designate these sections as special.

Does anyone know how to remove them?

Hi Dan,

Those are wear marks (marks which let you know where you recently viewed inside the book).

To turn them Off see this wiki page: Visual Bookmarks

EDIT: when you turn them Off, they will be turned Off in all your books.

To add to what Steve wrote, I will add that they appear in ALL books, not just personal ones.
