Linking What I See!
Liking what I see with FaithLife! Looks like it has the potential to become a GREAT Christian-based social networking site.
Once it becomes more integrated into mobile apps, I see it as a big success.
I also hope it becomes more deeply integrated into Logos apps. Being able to have social-integration inside Logos would be GREAT.
If there's a way to integrate the forums into FaithLife groups, that'd be kinda neat too. Get Logos support through the social network.
I've also setup a Prayer Requests page on FaithLife. Feel free to join it!

I see a LOT of potential in FaithLife and can't wait to find other uses for it!

Nathan,
Logos does have a dedicated app for Faithlife and the Faithlife Study Bible which you can get for free for at least a year. Follow the instructions in Bob's post here: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/49207/364305.aspx#364305

In addition to what Philana said, have you checked out the Community Notes feature? This is "social integration inside Logos" and it works accross platforms. A group could do a bible study on the letter of James, or read a book together: People can share their insights on Faithlife or other social networks if they choose to, and keep persistent Community Notes in Logos. So imho it not only "would be GREAT" but technically it is great already, it's just waiting for people to use it...
Have joy in the Lord!

I have not seen that yet. How do you work with Community Notes? I'm VERY interested in trying it.
Thanks!

I've joined your Faithlife group "Prayer partners" so you can see my note. I have created a community note in Ps 13:1 as well as one in "teach us to pray" (WEF-resource edited by DA Carson).
If you open your Bible to Ps 13 (or open the othe book, if you own it), you'll see the green note indicator:
When you click the note indicator, the Comunity Notes tab will open (alternatively you may open it with Tools/Community Notes). You may reply to my note or write your own notes and choose to make them visible to one of the Faithlife groups you are member of (or all of Fathlife with "My Faithlife").
EDIT: I hope my Community Note was okay, given the purpose of your group. I you want to test & experiment (we grown-ups don't play, do we? ;-) it's maybe a good idea if you join group Faithlife Beta - I think it may be the second biggest group (after Logos page turners - which is much more active on Faithlife) and you may find some Community Notes and test the interaction.
One thing you'll see (or miss, since you don't see it): right now there's no automatic message in the group that I just made two Community Notes, which are visible for group members - thus either I tell you or you stumble over them by accident. This is a planned feature, though.

Strange. When I open my copy and open my Bible, the green note icon isn't there in Ps 13.1. When I open Community Notes, it's empty too. Am I doing something wrong?

It would be helpful to provide a screen shot… also, what version of Logos are you running?
Sounds good. Here's the screen shot that includes the version info.

Is that a group on the FaithLife site?

Yes. That is the only way you can post notes on the site. Then you can read your notes and anybody else who posts on the group or their "my faithlife" if they have it open. Go to Hebrews 11:3 and tell me if you can see my note, if so respond by hitting the reply button and adding your thoughts.

It's working now! Saw your quote and the Ps 13 quote. This IS neat! WOW! I'm going to LOVE this feature! This is really fun. I may post some of my seminary papers on Biblical passages as notes from time to time. I can't wait to see what else Logos has in store for FaithLife. I can tell there's a LOT of potential here!
