What exactly can the Home screen do on the iPhone?
Does this only show the Reading Plans and Devotionals? Is there anything else that it can do? If not, then this seems like a big wasted space that is very limited. Don't get me wrong, as those 2 things are very cool. They just do not warrant a whole screen in my opinion.
If more can be done, where is the help to show me how? Can some kind person post a link here, please? Thank you so much for any help anyone can give! Blessings!

Home page can technically:
- Locate nearby Proclaim presentations
- Show your reading plans
- Pull your top 3 devotional
- Show you the "Free Book Preview" (an old Logos marketing project that is no longer running)
- Display messages from Logos. (They used to send offers, specials, and news announcements)
To my knowledge, that is all the functionality that is built into the home page.

Robert - I think that Ryan is spot on. To elaborate a little bit… Logos designed the home page to be a place to get to your reading plans and devotionals, but also a place to advertise. Apple has since cracked down on their app policies, which doesn't allow Logos to advertise books for sale without giving Apple a 30% cut. Logos had three options: Give Apple a cut; remove the app from the App store (meaning that it would not be available on iOS devices); or remove the advertisement functionality. For obvious reasons, they chose the later.

Thank you so much for your quick reply. It is really helpful. On a side note, this would make a great place to display Notes or Clips... do you think? I really need to see my notes that are not attached to a particular verse somewhere. [;)]
