iPhone app: "Look up" of a word in a text by holding down on the word
In a tutorial video I just saw that you can hold down on a word in the iPhone app and a pop up window appears at the bottom with morph info on the word with an option to do a Word Study. I tried over and over and mine will not do this. It just says "searching" endlessly and I have to cancel. Any idea if I'm doing something wrong or if that feature is gone?

This feature still works if you are online and connected to the Internet - the search actually takes place on Logos servers.
Are you online when trying to execute this function?

I have been able to use Lookup in the past on both Logos App and Vyrso app, but currently am experiencing the same problem as OP, and I definitely have the correct resources. It is not even looking up the IOS dictionary in Vyrso for definitions of general word as it has in the past for me, the app is just hangs saying it is searching until I cancel the search.

I think it is a problem with the iOS System. I have the resources, I am connected to the internet and it used to work. I also have the problem of the iPhone hanging saying "Looking up...." After a few minutes I have to cancel the lookup. I think the system is malfunctioning.

Steve - The first thing I would try is to shut down your device completely. Press and hold both buttons and use the slider to turn off your device. If that doesn't work, you can delete the app and reinstall. NOTE: you will have to redownload any resources that you downloaded previously.

This is a known bug with version 3.1.4 of Logos on iPhones and iPod Touches, which has been confirmed by a Logos employee. See this thread:

Down further in that thread I posted instructions on how to roll back to the previous version of Logos for iPhone if you have an older version backed up to iTunes.

Thanks to all for your help. I did reboot the iphone, then deleted and reinstalled Logos app. All to no avail. Thanks "mitchellisdumb" for the last post that it IS a confirmed BUG or SERVER issue. Now I know I am not losing my mind. Thanks.

Yeah, the "Look Up" function on my iPhone with the Logos app is no longer working and hasn't been for some time. I hope they fix the bug soon.
