What does the app do with 'contact data'?

What does this app have to do with my contact data?  Before I install, the permissions it requests is 'Your personal information' which includes my contacts.  What feature depends on this contact data?  Can it be turned off if I don't want you to have my contact data?  What do you want with my contact data?

    Thanks.

    There is no compelling reason for me to use Proclaim, and so, no compelling reason for me to grant Logos access to my personal contact information.

    I will not be using android logos for this reason.   I wanted to use android platform to access logos.  Thanks for the 30 days money back guarantee.  I think I will be returning my purchase on this issue alone because I won't be able to take advantage of the convenience of having this information on my android device.

    I don't think it wise for anyone to grant to any app permissions which don't make sense.  It doesn't make sense for me to grant permissions to this android app for a feature I have not purchased and don't plan to use (Proclaim).
