I noticed that I am not seeing any definitions for Hebrew words when doing a word study on the iPad app. If I am doing a New Testament study, I see definitions for Greek words. Can anyone explain why this may be happening? Thank you and Lord bless!
What version are you using?
2.1.5.269
Which translation? Not all of the Reverse Interlinears are completed for the OT.
NASB and KJV but I think it is working but not for every word. For example, in Exod. 1:7 I see definitions for abundantly and multiplied but not for fruitful.
Scott - Sorry, I should have been more explicit. Philana got to the heart of my question: which bible version translation are you using? Some Bible's have RI's for the whole Bible, some just for the NT, and most have none.
Scott – I just tried this with both the NASB & KJV and was able to get definitions for all three words. Can you give some screen shots?
How do I capture screen shots on iPad?
Press the on/off button and the Home buttons simultaneously and release. You'll hear a click and the screen with briefly go black and come back. The screenshots will be in your Pictures app.
All Hebrew word studies below were done in KJV.
Fruitful
Abundantly
Multiplied
Mark, thank you for the screenshot instructions. I learned something new about the iPad today! Woo hoo!
Great job! [:)]
It looks like the searches were successful... Were they?
Never mind. I'm on my iPad. When I made the screenshots larger, I saw what you were talking about. Let me think about it a bit.
Scott, if it helps any, I have seen the same happen on random Hebrew words. Ark in Genesis 7-9 shows no definitions, altar in Genesis 8:20 and other places is another that shows no definitions in the BWS. Maybe someone from Logos can explain why this is happening. It certainly seems like a bug.
I too am wondering if this is a bug.
I'd be interested to know as well. Thanks for bringing this to our attention! [:)]
You're welcome and thanks to you and everyone else for the help! Good night and Lord bless!
