So, no other suggestions , because the above one is going to cost really a fortune...This is true. I was able to get funding approval from the Mrs. for this and that pretty much shoots the budget for this year... [:S]

I just go announcement that price of NICOT/NICNT prepub will go up. I hope it means we will see that series in our computers soon. Hallelujah
Any word on when it may ship? I am still fighting the chickens for enough scratch to buy it. My wife thinks I should sell a car.[au] Give me 'till the end of August, PLEASE.... I would love to put in a pre-pub at the lowest price.

It is very unlikely that it will ship before the end of August. We may not see it until 2010. There's a lot of material to work through, and LDLS users are not very patient about mistakes--especially when we pay a lot of money. If I were a betting man, I'd bet about 6 months. Since I'm not a betting man, I'll have to get the money some other way.
You could always sign up now, and hope it takes a while to ship. That way you lock in the low price. You could always cancel later. Usually Logos sends out a notice to confirm your credit card info before they charge you. Otherwise just keep an eye on your pre-pub page.

This whole drama seems so unnecessary to me. Why doesn't Logos just say that after a certain date the price will be $$$$? If I knew exactly WHEN I needed to have all the money pull together I might be more likely to buy. It seems like some sort of marketing scheme to get people, who might not really be able to afford it, to make a commitment. I am relatively new to the forum so this may be an old comment. I just don't like games--especially with my money!

I hope you understand, Dr. Hartman, that you will not be charged a dime until the product ships, and you may cancel at any time.
Of course it's a marketing scheme. But it's a win-win. Logos knows they'll be able to cover their production costs and we get a great bargain.

Thanks for your reply. I understand that my card will not be charged until it ships. But when my card is charged I want the money to immediately pay for it. If the mystery ship date is three weeks from now I will not have the money; hence, I will not buy using credit. But If I know I have 6 months I could have the money in place. I guess I am strange in that I think it is a good idea to have the money when I buy something!
Nigel,
Where are you getting gift vouchers for Logos? We've been asking for those for a few years at least and have yet to hear anything like it.
Call up a Sale Rep, Jared for the gift vouchers.

Wow! now if only Logos would sell them in incremental ammounts on the website (hint hint). Then I could just provide a link to http://www.logos.com/gift to all my friends and relatives for Christmas ;-)
Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.
