Thanks for the update. Like the font size slider very much. The Bible slider is a great improvement on my HTC sensor phone. I can now slide chapter by chapter.

On an HTC senosr, Faithlife App search works offline fine. I have not been successful to get offline search to work in Logos on the phone so far. Keep getting error message saying "The application Logos (process com.logos.androidlogos) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."
Offine search works fine in Logos on the Toshiba Thrive Tablet. Faithlife search works well in offline mode as well.

First off thanks for the quick feedback Lynden!
Please create a new thread for specific issues encountered with this beta.
In that new thread it would be very helpful if you could include what search criteria you entered when offline search crashed. Was it a Bible or Basic search type? Are you searching in a specific resource or Entire Library/Recent resources?

Fast scrolling, thanks guys! Wow, and offline search. This is big.

Could I share to my other Android Apps stuffs (i.e. commentaries, books, etc) from Logos other than Bible verses? So far, I notice that I could only share Bible verses, nothing else to other Android Apps such as Evernote.

Thank you for your efforts in the android version. It's really a pleasure to have enhanced usability and functionality with consistently stable (although beta) releases. Keeping user data with each upgrade is an added bonus.
I particularly like the text size slider and the overall presentation of the application. Automated upgrades are also a plus.

and your update channel is configured to beta
how exactly do I set the update channel to beta in the apps?I tried typing beta in the about dialog and hitting enter (there is no submit button).
Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

Hi Thomas
I tried typing beta in the about dialog and hitting enter (there is no submit button).
When I did this it did change the display in that field to "beta".
Whether this actually has any effect is another matter. I had this set but didn't receive any notification of this release!

Turns out I had to rotate the screen and locate a "done"button for the entry field. Clicking that applied it and provided a link to the download page.
Not exactly in-app updating.

I don't see a "done" button on my phone

my goodness editing these forum posts on the galaxy is a pain. That should read:
That is curious. Did you rotate the screen? This is what I see:

Interesting
Did you rotate the screen?
Yes, but no "Done"
May be something to do with phone types - mine is an HTC desire?
Is yours a phone or a tablet?

Graham,
Mine is a phone. Galaxy SII skyrocket. It's 4.5" screen is large enough to be a micro-tablet though.

Mine is 4.3" so unlikely that this is the cause of the difference.

Hi John, thanks for the reply.
I see the same thing on the Logos app, Vyrso and Faithlife, all running 1.1.1.
- Logos - build 41
- Vyrso - build 29
- Faithlife - build 15
Thanks, Graham

Wow, it looks like Logos broke downloading on the 1.x versions of the app. Trying to hit the tiny "i" button to read the description is hit or miss both on my Galaxy Tab 2 7" and Asus Transformer. It was possible in 1.03, but almost impossible in 1.1. 99% of the time, it opens the resource. Very annoying. Why the tiny button, anyway? In iOS, there is a nice, big arrow and it works 100% of the time, Logos needs to fix this ASAP!

Hi Graham,
It looks like you have all the latest versions on your device. Did you download from the links Gabe provided?

Did you download from the links Gabe provided?
Yes I did

Thanks Graham.
The links Gabe provided contain the latest beta versions. Once those are installed, you won't see an "Update Available" notice until the next release, provided you have the update channel properly set. If you download the apps from the links after you tried using the update feature, then something else happened and we need to figure out what.

I took a video to demonstrate the problem:

Yes, I understand this.
The thing I was trying to explore was why I didn't get the "Done" button - leading me to be uncertain as to whether my channel setting had "took"!
Your post at http://community.logos.com/forums/t/50984.aspx clarified this - thanks for that.
