I don't know how i added a personal book to my library, but i would like to remove it. Can i do this and if so, how?

Yes, Hover your mouse over the personal book you want to delete in the personal book pane. Right click your mouse with your head slightly tilted to the left and select delete.

Unfortunately this personal book is not listed in my personal books section. Don't know why. The only place i can see it is in my library. if i right click there are no options to delete this resource.
Have you tried the "hiding" process with a restart? That should get rid of it.

yes, i did create the book in personal books. I have not yet tried the hiding process. i have only read about the hiding process. What are screen shots?
GOT IT! For some reason that personal book showed up again and i was able to edit and/or delete it. Thanks to all.
That is odd. I know this question may sound insulting but I do not intend it that way. Is it possible you were in that pane but the scroll bar was not positioned to see the book? I have done this myself on more than one occassion. I call it a Homer moment.

I don't remember Logos responding to missing PBs. But since the hermits were safely in my library, I wasn't worried.
But the plot thickens. Now the hermits are missing from my library as well. Out of curiousity (spelled wrong but who knows), I checked my L4 resource folder and indeed, there's 1 too many PBs in there. Goodness they're good.
Actually I was wanting to eventually dispatch the hermits and I think they know it.

They're back!! I typed 'hermit' in the library text area and no hermits volume. But then I typed 'user created' and there they were! I KNEW it. Sneaky little things. Three of them too. (Not like Herman's Hermits).
Mrs. Brown did have a Lovely Daughter. I don't think she used Logos though.

yeah its a year later, but i found this thread looking for a solution to the same problem, so i am sure someone else will too.
Denise's comment about the L4 resource folder sent me searching.
i found the folder: C:\Users\userid\AppData\Local\Logos5\Data\3m420gc2.4jm\ResourceManager\Resources
and sure enough, there was an oddly named file (4e204e2e155e4d17abdb8bf3744647c0.lbspbb) next to some more intelligently named files (i.e. ESV.logos4)
so i moved the odd one to my desktop and restarted Logos5 to see what would happen.
I still saw the phantom PB listed in the library, but when i clicked on it, it triggered an error message. then after restarting Logos, it was gone.

I have been putting versions of a Personal Book into the Library trying to learn how to tag the file properly.
Now I have about a dozen named versions in my library after having deleted all of them but one in the Publish Tool.
I found the funny numbered resources with file extention .LXPBB (I am going by memory. Might not be exactly what they were called.)
I deleted the Personal Book files but my Library still lists them all.
When I try to open one of them I get a screen saying the book has been removed. That is fine but they persist in the library list.
I may call for a support call unless someone knows the answer here.
I just restarted Libronix more than once and it seems that after deleting the resources they all were removed from the Library eventually. It took more than one restart.
It seems it didn't work until I got the error that the resource was missing and then restarted after that.
My next question becomes one I must as LIBRONIX. That is how do I market my book via the Libronix e-store? It is a variant of the KJV Bible called the SKJV,

Glad that you were able to delete those test personal books.
As far as marketing your book I'm not too sure what you mean. If you mean sharing your personal book(s) that can easily be done on the forums here - http://community.logos.com/forums/66.aspx

I had a couple of Personal Books that I deleted but did would not delete, they did not show up in the Personal Files but did in the Library. They were active still, I then hide them, but they would from time to time show up in the library.
I had not read the earlier post you referenced about the Ibspbb files, but it worked for me. I had five personal books but I use three of them and I could not find out what their names were (just letters and numbers), so found the files listed and deleted the two by their dates. I also deleted them from the settings/ Hidden section also, and after reloading Logos 5 they are still gone.
