Devotional time issue with iPhone app

When I go to the home page to select my devotional (currently using M&E) at 6am EST, it takes me to yesterday's devotion.  I think this must be a time zone issue because later in the day it is correct.  It's a minor inconvenience, but I have to scroll through the previous devotion to get to the current one. I found a workaround to use More > History and select my devotional there to take me to the last point I read, but it would be better if the right day came up on the Home page.
