Bug: Two selections for ESV in Search drop-down (Vyrso 1.1)
Online Search (from menu) whilst in ESV
Two indistinguishable options for "ESV" are displayed. When I selected a search for 'Beware' and selected the last ESV I get the message "No results matched your search". When I select the first ESV option I get proper results.
NB. There are three options for Beware Basic Search; ESV + 1 x fruit Basic Search; ESV. Problem exists with first and second "Beware". "fruit" and the third "Beware" behave as expected.
I get the same results in Offline mode except for the different message "Search failed".
ESV is the only resource on my Samsung Galaxy S, loaded by the previous 1.0 beta.
A long press search for a word is OK.
Why is there no option for type of search eg. Bible, Basic?

Hey Dave,
After investigating the problem, we have found the source of the problem. The way that we have been saving past searches on older versions of the app had changed in such a way that our search engine was not able to handle it when you tap on it. So, what would happen when you tapped that old ESV entry for "Beware," our search engine would not know how to handle it since its format had changed. The newer one worked fine because the format was readable to the search engine. So, I will be working on fixing that issue for upcoming releases.
In the meantime, to fix your problem, you can simply clear out your application's cache--which will wipe out that file we have been saving past searches to. Starting from your Android home screen, go to Settings -> Applications -> Manage applications -> [App Name]. Now, just tap "Clear data." The next time you open the app, you will have to sign in and download all your resources. Now, you can safely use the search feature, and its list of recent searches (which will build over time with successive searching). If you don't feel like clearing out the cache, that's OK too. Just waiting until the bug is fixed in a later release is an OK option too.

The Data size is not large enough to include the resources, so it appears to be a cache that tells you about the downloaded resources as well as user Id, previous searches, etc. It would greatly be appreciated if you could reverse-engineer the resource information without the user having to re-download many GB of resources. I'll wait for the bug fix!
