Not downloading

I have just purchased a Platinum Scholar base collection and my books are not "auto downloading" as the receipt email said that they would. I keep shutting down and restarting logos. I've hit the sync button a bunch of times. On my android app I can see all the books (I guess because they're not downloaded), but they are missing from my logos library on desktop. Does anyone have any idea what I need to do?

My computer is running windows 7

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi David,

After you signed in to Logos 4 what happened? You should have seen it go from "preparing to download" to "Downloading X% of XGB". If you open Logos 4 and the Homepage appears, type "update resources" in the bar at the top where it says "command" in faint letters and hit enter. This should force Logos 4 to check for updates and will automatically download them. You'll see "checking for resources" on the top right-hand side of the Logos 4 window, and when it finds (or doesn't updates it will tell you on the bottom-right.

Thanks Tommy. Yeah, I've tried that. It says down bottom right: "Updates Available: Updates were found and will be downloaded automatically". The trouble is that they're not downloading. Am I just being too impatient (perhaps they are downloading in the background and I don't know it??). I haven't seen anything that says "downloading x% of XGB". Hmmm.

HI David,

If you're using a Windows machine you'll see a small Logos 4 icon (a smaller version of what you double-click to launch Logos 4) in the system tray near the time. If you don't see it right away, click the small triangle that points up and you should see it in the box that appears. If you have identified that it is not in the system tray, or the box can you give us a call at your earliest convenience? 800-875-6467.

Cool. I just checked that out and it appears that it's downloading now (I didn't know I could check downloading like that...cool). I suppose it takes a while for 1200 books to download aye. It says its over 70% now so I guess I'll have something soon. Thanks!
