How to See All Notes Created in Faithlife?
Hey all:
I had a thought of using Faithlife to create all the notes that I may take while listening to sermons and teaching. I tried this at a recent retreat. The trouble is that I can't see a place where I can see a list of all the notes that I've created.
What am I missing?
I need to be able to see a list of all the notes I create as Community Notes. I need this to show up in the Faithlife app or L4.
Help. Please.

James, I suppose you will be frustrated to learn there is no central location to view all your Faithlife Notes.

The only way that it might work is to create group with yourself as the only member, and post all of your notes to that group. Change the permissions so that only you can see it. This has to be done from within the app. Make sure to share all of your notes with the group in the faithlife website.
I have not tried this, so everything may not work, but it is worth a shot.

I've been trying to do just that because I'm toying with the idea of using Faithlife for a bible study group so I've been playing around with all three apps. Unfortunately, it doesn't work (as far as I can tell), but it was a good idea.

David, when someone attaches a note to a verse, if you subscribe to that group it will show up in community notes. Everything created in Faithlife will show up under "My Faithlife" if the person who posted it, desires for it to be seen by everyone else.
As an example, join my group Focus on the Word, and you will see my comments on various passages show up as I post them. I am thinking about the app or Logos Bible Software. If time permits, I will also post to facebook and the faithlife forum for "Focus on the Word".

Thank you, and thank you for inviting me to join your group. I joined your group and, I hope you don't mind, but I was looking through all your notes to see how Faithlife works in practice.
It seems like you add a note that you're looking at various bible verses in Faithlife and it's up the group to then look these up in Logos (along with the comments on the passages). I also found that if I type gen-rev into the passage search just at the top of the bible tab (in Logos) I can bring up all of your notes for the entire bible in community notes. That's been a big help and I'm very thankful.
If the group is looking at multiple verses and making comments, say, for a bible study, do you know of a way to show these notes to the whole group? I noticed that notes on individual passages don't show up in the Focus on the Word news tab in Faithlife. I'm just wondering how does the group keep up; do they have to keep flicking between the two apps?
I have noticed that I can open 8 bibles on my size screen (in Logos) without having to flick between tabs. So in a bible study where everyone is taking part at the same time everyone can be commenting on those 8 passages at a reasonable speed to come close to conversational but what if someone in the group thinks of a different passage and wants to talk about that? I guess what I'm really looking for is something like the Chat feature of Facebook.
Forgive me and I will ask just one more question, can I reply to other people's replies or just to the original comments to bible passages?

Did not know that. It is pulling up every verse on all the groups that I joined. I had to uncheck those that I did not want to see.
I am thinking basically, they can write down the verses, or as I call them or the leader in a Bible study environment, they can then look them up. When we can share favourites, then it will be in a favourites folder.

Good for ebible study, but we will all be meeting in a small group, then it would be best for the participants to study ahead at home and write their notes. The only way is to try it.
I think you can reply to anyone who leaves a comment. Get one or two more persons to join the group or any other group that is setup and go for it.
