90 Day Reading Plan

I'm trying to set up a 90 Day Reading Plan (straight through from the OT to NT) and am confused on how to get it to work. I tried to set up a custom reading plan for 90 days, but the scripture readings didn't show up.

Can someone please post directions on how to do this?

In the file menu, choose new reading plan

The settings line should default to saying "Read <your favourite Bible> All Passages every day, starting today and finishing in one year"

Click on the part that says "in one year". The last item on the list will be a date one year from today. Click on that date and a calendar will come up.

Adjust the calendar to get to the date you want to finish reading on. (for example, October 3rd, 2012)

Then press the "GO" button.

You should then be able to see your reading plan, with about 9-10 chapters a day for the next 3 months.

What happens if you close the reading plan and then open it from the file menu?

Perhaps another line of questions will get to the heart of the matter… Where are you expecting the Bible Passages to show up? The reading plan is kind of a visual filter which you can turn on & off. In the first screen shot, I am showing you the bible translation that the reading plan is based on. Notice the "start reading" bar. At the end of the passage there is a similar bar that says "keep reading" or "mark read." The second screen shot show the visual filter menu. If the reading plan isn't checked, it won't show up. The reading plan displayed is at the end of the list (RP: M'Chyne ISV).

Is this what you were expecting?
