Notes icon on iPad
When I add a note in Logos for iPad, I have the options for highlighting, underline, add note, etc. I can also choose to add an icon--a circle, square, star, etc. If I don't add the icon, when I tap the highlighted passage, a pop-up reading, "Edit note," displays. If I add the icon, I can tap on the icon and the note displays with a link to edit the note. It would be better if the two behaviors were the same (note should display when I tap on a highlighted passage without the need for an icon) because the icon is visually intrusive.
Am I missing something somewhere?

Gregory - First, welcome to the forums! Sorry no one responded quicker to your post.
I don't know why the behavior is different. I do believe that most people probably use highlighting differently than they do "regular" notes, even though these two functions mostly merged a while back in everything but graphic presentation. I wonder if the devs thought that the popups would be distracting for most users under most situations?
One idea is for you to post this behavior change as a suggestion in the suggestions forum.

Does anyone know, or could one of the Logos team let us know if or when we will be able to access our not files in iOS that aren't linked to a text... (for example, at the moment I am working on some background material for an upcoming sermon that I've got in a note file, which isn't linked to a particular passage as I'm looking at themes of law and grace.. what would be nice would be if I could access and edit that note file from within iOS)
I know there is a menu to select which note file the highlights go into, and from that we can add new highlight note files.. it would be really helpful if on the 'more' menu we had a link on there to our note files that we could access and edit.

It's coming -- I'm sorry I can't give a date yet. But it's not far away...

I am hoping this will include the ability to open them in split screen. What I would like to see is the ability to have notes with links to resources needed for a talk or lesson, then the user can click on the link and have the resource open to the spot in the other window. You can then have the passage you needed highlighted.

I agree. Most important, though, would be to have scripture references linked. The desktop versions of Logos have that feature but it hasn't get made its way to the mobile versions.
