Using the Yale Anchor Bible Dictionary
I just purchased the YABD and I can't figure out how to access it. Pressing on a word brings up the word study but it does shows the YABD.as a source. It also does not respond when I type in a word via the search bar at the top of the screen. Any suggestions?

I wouldn't expect a Bible Dictionary like Anchor Yale (AYBD) to be used in Word Study + Logos does its own thing and either uses a Lexicon or an English Dictionary like Merriam-Webster.

That doesn't behave as I expect, either! You have to use Search from the menu.

I still think that a dictionary should be accessible as a dictionary, not as a reading book. Having to guess where in that file the desired word or topic is located makes me go to the tools of other companies.
Dictionaries and encyclopedias are worth having their own coding and accessing methods.

They are more accessible in the desktop application if prioritised and included in a Collection in the Definition section of BWS. The Android app. doesn't have this sophistication.
