Academic discount question

Today I got two emails from Logos as follow:

"Re-apply today for academic standing and continue to enjoy a deep discount on resources for your Bible Study education! Your current Logos.com academic discount will expire in thirty days.

You are eligible for the academic discount for six more terms. For more information, check out the FAQs."

And at the same time I got the following email:

We hope you have enjoyed your
last three years with us as an academic user. This is your last chance
to enjoy your biggest discount possible on thousands of titles at
Logos.com. Your current Logos.com academic discount will expire at in
thirty days.

You are no longer eligible to re-apply for the academic discount. For more information, check out the FAQs.

Is that mean I cannot apply the academic discount from now on? I am still a seminary student.

Do you guys know why one email said I can re-apply and the other said no?

I am so confused.

The line

We hope you have enjoyed your

is text that should be removed from the automated email. I believe marketing is preparing new text to replace this so it should be changed out soon.

I'll followup with marketing on Monday to find out where we are on getting this corrected. And I'll have to look at why you received an email with a no longer eligible to re-apply message. The current version of the academic program hasn't been active long enough for anyone to receive that so you should be eligible to re-apply as far as I know.

I am sorry that you received two conflicting emails; I am not sure why that happened. I would encourage you to reapply, and if you run into a problem, please email me at cliff [dot] kvidahl@logos [dot] com. I am sure it was just a mistake.

I got a similar email last time, and I simply re-applied and was approved. I don't think they mean it, though that doesn't help explain why it hit your inbox. If in doubt, always call a Logos rep...they are unfailingly helpful.
