Loading Notes/HIghlights no longer causes FC or return to home, however notes/highlights do not display.  Updated log and more details are in original post.

Updated to build 47 and still cannot view notes/highlighting on my HP Touchpad running the latest CM9 version. Can see highlighting on my HTC Rezound running current stock ICS build.

The new history feature is appreciated.

I am still noticing a significant lag (Galaxy SII Skyrocket) flipping to pages which contain highlights/notes.

Hmm Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

So far this program is working very well on my Samsung Infuse.  Thank you for the update! [:D]

    A big step forward...very nice! [:)]

The only thing that isn't that intuitive on a 7" device is that you have to hit the little box on the top left side to get back to the menu...

After further review, it seems the highlighting is in fact being brought over on my HP Touchpad, however it is only visible when the Bible app is set to the low light view. Maybe those who also cannot see highlighting should try the low light view as well.

Only some notes appear.  I thought that a fresh install might help.  But, it turns out that on multiple devices and after several fresh installs, still the same few notes appear... but not all of them.  I thought it might be related to how the notes are attached (i.e. either to a selection or a reference).  But, some of each kind show up... but not all of them.  Also, only some highlighting shows up (all standard yellow highlights).

I am using the Bible Android App on an Atrix (1st gen - 2.3.6 OS) and a Lenovo K1 (3.2.1 OS)

Otherwise, I like the new UI and features.

    Update:

I found that most of my notes show up in most other bible versions (NRSV, YLT, The Message, KJV), but not in ESV.  Any ideas?

BUG:Highlighting not showing up on TouchPad running CM9

Ok so I have played around a little more. All highlighting shows up in low light mode, but not normal view.

In normal view I can see notes and from the Highlighting section, I can see the underline tools perfectly and the other non-Highlighter choices, like yellow glow. So something seems to just be off with the highlighter functions and not the whole feature.

Hope this helps find the culprit :)

Like the new app. Is there a way to force it to sync, so that notes appear right after they are created on the desktop?

Mission: To serve God as He desires.

Also noticed that notes upload faster to faithlie app, than to the Logos app.

BUG: this beta works much faster than the previous version on my samsumg galaxy note but highlights and notes don't appear either in low light or normal viewing mode. I restarted my galaxy note but this didn't help

do keep up the good work, I am looking forward to the next beta where these things will be fixed.

for the future, I'm particularly looking forward to having the app read out logos books - ie text to speech!

Hi, been out of touch with forums for a while -
where do I find my synced reading plan on my Acer Iconia Tablet with this latest beta?

    Everything else is great,

    Thanks,

    Good Morning,
I am using the app on my HTC Thunderbolt and my Samsung Galaxy 7.0 plus tab.
The new format lost the daily Bible reading option. There aren't any devotional options either. I have been using this every day and now it's gone. Please restore this option soon. Thanks

Those options are still there.  Go to the search (magnifying glass) mode.  It has several pages.  Just slide your finger to the left as if you were turning pages and you will see all of the options.

    Super! Thanks

If you are relying on Bible for your daily study  time I'd strongly encourage you to stick with the apps published via Google Play or Amazon Appstore.

The betas should be steadily improving while we get closer to a 2.0 stable release but until we release a 2.0 version to the stores it's entirely possible you might run into incomplete features or missing functionality.

After using the new app for a few days, I have to say on the Transformer Prime, it runs a little slower than the old app did.  I see the difference especially in page turning and in reverting to the home screen.  I would still like to see a dedicated button at the bottom for a menu or home key, one that could be placed next to the devices other buttons.  I have not noticed any problems with accessing notes, in any version.  If possible, I would like to see more filters in the library, especially "downloaded" resources.  I did find the "download all" button, but I had to scroll down from the top, as though it was hidden.  I found it on accident trying to filter my library.  If you could make it stay there that would be nice.  The  history feature works great and I love seeing it while in a book they way you have it.  Switching resources while reading them is funky.  if you could revert back to what you had in the first version using a menu button, that would be smoothest.

Finally, i could live with all of this if you could add updating/syncing notes from my tablet to my computer.  Honestly, its the only thing I really care about. ;)

If possible, I would like to see more filters in the library, especially "downloaded" resources.

One of the filters you can use in the library view is "local:" which will show only downloaded resources.
