Android Forum Headings Screening

I would like to have some sort of heading on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S with Android 2.2) to screen out the forum posts.  I get numerous posts everyday that I am not interested in (e.g. problems with L4 Mac--I have a PC, Proclaim--don't have or need, etc).  If I can select the forums on the website, why can't I do so on my phone.  Thanks for listening!

    Ronald,

How exactly are you accessing the forums? Web browser? Email? What URL are you using.

On my Galaxy SII running both Gingerbread and ICS I have no problem seeing the website identically to the desktop.

Hmm Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

I'm using Google Reader with an RSS feed for Logos forums.  Then when I want more detail about a particular post I use Dolphin Browser to look at it on the website.  I've also tried Easy RSS with the same results as Google Reader.  Even the RSS Ticker that came with the phone gives the same results.  It is not until I actually get to the website that I can see the headers.

    Based upon

I can select the forums on the website, why can't I do so on my phone.
I'm assuming you are using the regular website on the desktop, and are using an RSS feed on your device.

If my assessment is correct than the issue is that the RSS feed does not contain forum header information.

THUS: the request is to add forum headers to the RSS feed.

    Am I right?

Hmm Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

I think you hit the nail on the head!  Can forum headers be added to RSS feeds?  If so, can Logos do it, ASAP?  Then we should be able to select which forums we want to read or filter out--Right?

I'm not sure we are currently planning many modifications to the forums although making a few changes to the RSS feeds are on my list of things I'd like to do.

I checked really quickly and it looks possible to add the field but I don't know that I'll be able to get to it for a while.

The one possible thing to try in the mean time is to use the forum specific rss feed:

http://community.logos.com/forums/rss.aspx?ForumID=76&Mode=0 for the Logos 4 Windows forum.
