Suggestion: selective notes
I like the fact that we can display the notes in the Android app. At the same time, there seems to be no control as to what note sets appear. This is a problem for those of us who have extensive and multiple note sets. I would like to suggest the following: in the DESKTOP version, let there be in the options menu the ability to check or uncheck something like "available in app". Then each user can choose which set they would like to have available in the mobile app. They can also change their mind later, adding or taking out whatever they want.

Great idea. I think the app should be able to turn on the desired desktop notes as well as create its own "mobile" notes/highlighting set.

The problem is that when you introduce granularity - you also introduce variable complexity; when you introduce variable complexity you increase support costs. Soon user after user will be calling in to say, "Hey all of my notes aren't syncing your software stinks!" Never-mind the ones who won't call for help but will still post negative reviews never realizing it's because they set it to do that.
Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

True enough but this reasoning if applied too far would make for keeping software simplistic as opposed to powerful. I suppose that it is part of the price tag of powerful software to know and accept that it has a higher learning curve and needs to be supported.
