is it possible to highlight notes, I tried copying highlighted text and pasteing into notes, but it didn't carry over the highlighing
thanks
At the top of the Notes panel you will see a yellow square. If you highlight text in a note, then click the yellow square, it will be highlighted.
Hi Daniel,
If I am reading you properly, your question refers to a note that you are leaving in the text editor itself by copy and paste of highlighted text in a reference. If I am reading you correctly this is not possible, indeed if you try to highlight text in the body of your note you cannot do this either. You may underline by selecting text and using the keyboard shortcut control + U, but that's about it.

Jack was/is correct. I just tried it. I don't normally highlight anything, but I did it to find out.

Thank you George for your confirmation of Jack's contribution. See, Logos 4 gets better every day. I stand corrected. [;)]
Jack and George,
The plot thickens. The teacher becomes the student. I just cannot make this thing go. I hope this screen shot will render my point. What I am trying to do is highlight the text in "Untitled Notes." As you see (1) I have highlighted Dan9.24 then I selected the highlighted text and copied it to the clipboard. Then (2) I've selected "Add note" and pasted this quote into the "Content" section of the "Untitled Note" text editor. Finally, (3) I've re-selected un-highlighted text and clicked the red square to no effect. What am I doing wrong?
Try the tool bar at the top of the note panel. It is labeled background. There is a drop down menu that allows you to select a color.
Correct, it is a white square with a red line through it (It only appears when you have text selected for highlighting).
Yep, at the top of the Notes panel. I often think I hear things that others did not say, too. <grin>

Thank you Allan.
For the sake of completeness I include illustration of the final step for all those fellow visual learners. Click on the wedge and a drop down palette will appear allowing you to select a highlight color. This is the answer to a prayer I brought early to L4.
Ok with your help, i am able to highlight my notes now
thanks much!
