Logos Won't Open-Upgraded to Mountain Lion

Upgraded to Mountain Lion and tried to open Logos but met with rude awakening...it won't open. I get an error file that states that the error code will be sent to Apple. Has anyone else experience this problem or have a workable solution?

What I have already done is replaced the original Logos4 with a new DGM file from Logos and I still have the same response.

Any suggestions??

Solution:

Delete Logos 4

Reinstall Mountain Lion

Install Logos 4 back to your Mac

Works!!

One option is contacting Logos Technical Support => http://www.logos.com/about/contact who with your permission can share your desktop for remote diagnosis.

Personally wonder about Logos 4 Mac diagnostic log files ? The Logos 4 Mac diagnostic log files often have useful contextual information.

By the way, one thread is typically enough for tracking one crash issue; replying to three threads about the same issue can be a bit challenging to piece together in an ordered manner. The Logos forum software does better when an issue is kept within one thread. Wiki has => Using the Forums

James, I am not sure if you can download ML from the app store after you have already done so. I do know that if you hold the control-R at reboot it should allow you to restore ML without formatting the hard drive and overwriting your files. You can also do a search in google for restoring ML without disk.

I hope that will at least get you Lion or ML.

James, I am not sure if you can download ML from the app store after you have already done so.

In the "Purchases" section at the top of the Mac App Store, there is a clickable button that says "Download" on the right hand side even if you've already purchased (and download/installed) Mountain Lion. I haven't tried clicking it and seeing if it's possible to redownload Mountain Lion because I don't want to risk messing up what's already working for me, lol. But it might work. Seems like the option is there. We're also given this option with Lion. So I would imagine that, if nothing else, a person could downgrade their OS to Lion and then reupgrade it to Mountain Lion again. I have no idea if this would actually work though. But it's worth a shot for someone having issues.

I have also downloaded ML and now Logos 4 won't open. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Its Monday but Sunday's comin'!

my hard disk was reformatted before i installed ML. Did a new installation of Logos from discs; indexing process (of 6 GB) stalled at 98%; upon doing a restart (of both laptop and Logos, "downloading resources" process starts but never gets past 0%. selecting any menu command results in the app quitting.

must be a secret formula to get Logos working with ML
