Do downloaded books get updated?

If I downloaded a resource on my smartphone, and Logos updates that resource (as happened wtih Holman NT Commentary set and heaps of others today), does the updated resource get pushed to my Android phone automatically?

Or do I need to remove each one manually, and download it again?

TIA

    Allen:

I believe it will be automatic. I'm running the 2.0.4 beta, but the current shipping version shows a "Checking for Updates" at startup, which I take to mean it's looking for items you've downloaded that have been updated. In fact, when I saw your post, I checked my desktop home page and saw that NET was updated. I opened the Android app, checked the date on the NET and it was Sep, 2011. A minute or two later I checked and the date was July 24, 2012, 1 day later than the desktop version.

macOS (Logos Pro - Beta) | Android 13 (Logos Stable)

or does checking for updates mean it is just making sure your Library list of available books includes any recent purchases - need to ask Logs on this one I think.....

You are both right! "Checking for updates" means that it is retrieving the up-to-date information from the server for your library. This includes new resources, and resource version information. New versions of any resources you already have downloaded will automatically start downloading.
