I don't think Logos has any copyrighted books by Cambridge University Press before, so this is good news. Perhaps some of our CUP wishes in the Suggestions forum just got a bit closer.
And it's also nice to see that Logos is finally publishing complete Bibles.
I've been agonized when or if the REB would ever be released by Logos! I wonder if Logos has a list of all offered Bibles, divided by language? If not I suggest they make such a list and include Pre-pub items such as the English Bible Collection, and put a link on the storefront or perhaps include the list in a slide in the presentation! I would advice Logos to gently point that they are going to provide the 1866 Common English Version New Testament, being a TR-based NT in fairly modern English and therefore of interest to many who have thought of the Authorized Version (=KJV) as the only option for a NT made by a team of scholars with no verses omitted. (Although some caution would be advisable - not everyone is going to be impressed by how many versions are offered - because to point out what versions are offered can also give a slightly unserious impression to some as many of the potential Logos customers are researchers interested in what else Logos has to offer.) Logos is catching up rapidly now - for a time some competitors offered more English Bible versions. To discuss the REB compared to a few other versions, go to: http://www.christianforums.com/t7653202-post61104333/#post61104333 ... an ongoing discussion which You can participate in even when there hasn't been much activity recently in the thread. I've even managed to get a Bible translator to respond in it a bit - but he's a bit busy, currently translating Ps from Hebrew.Oh, as a long time user of the REB (never having had the complete Bible and having lost two of them because I couldn't keep myself from reading them everywhere) I feel so joyous! The REB is said to be a good / the best version for the Pauline Epistles and the Apocrypha. Consequently my purchases have included an Apocrypha and a Pauline Epistles: http://www.amazon.com/New-Testament-Epistles-Christian-Classic/dp/0312221037/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1344010474&sr=1-1... just thought I'd give that link if someone feels it's expeensive and wants to try out parts of it first to see if it's any good!
I'm so content with Logos! Thank You! Since I overcame my anxiety towards Bible research software 3½ months ago, I now have Triunely Godly reading to do. It's just wonderful to see Logos taking care now of people outside North America (but the fact that the REB is cast in British English is just one aspect, I choose it because of it's quality in translation)!(To conclude, I sincerely hope Logos is not going to revert to offering ONLY what has the greatest sales-potential but keeps focusing on quality - it will pay off in a long-life product with a good reputation. TOO MANY English "Bible" versions can turn against Logos's current good reputation at some point, after all buying Bibles You've heard of is a bit tempting and is a typical area of many regrets. Can't say I regret any purchases but I've used extremely long hours and years for research into what English Bible versions there are - still unable to recommend more than a handful (and even unfamiliar to the quality Bibles in my local languages, so I don't "know-it-all").)Logos is at it's greatest right now. App close to bug-free with recent improvements in indexing speed, good pace in releasing new titles, and good focus. Hoping Logos is not going to get worse so that I've supported a good cause as I will be buying less and less (I'm among the poorest customers), - if I have supported a good cause that would personally be a victory since I have seen so much tragedy during my life.I have taken my epilepsy-medication. I'm thanking Jesus Christ my Saviour for having been lead during 2012. (Also praying and expressing gratitude for my best friend whom I met in August 2008 from a long discussion -thread in a hikers and other nature-adventurers -forum.)

I actually appreciate having such a wide variety of translations available to me in Logos. I don't just use one, but make use of different ones. I had heard of the NEB and REB before, but never the opportunity to get them. Glad to see they will be available in Logos. As to the Cambridge Paragraph edition, I already have the ASV one. I have enough copies the KJV in Logos, so I am going to pass on that one.
I am so happy
2 British Bibles NEB & REB
I will continue to use ESV and NIV as my main Bibles.
But to have the NEB is great because it is quoted in all the best commentaries. A Dynamic equivalent version. Radical and not traditional. Modern dynamic equivalent versions are bland in comparison.
Praise the Lord
The NEB is long overdue. I had a print copy of REB, but saw nothing particularly notable in it. I'll have to look again.
