MicrosoftInternetExplorer4

When I use the iPad to highlight bible selections that have letter/number
sub/superscripts, they appear in the note file on the PC with the letter/number
sub/superscripts embedded in the text.

Example taken from my note file named “Romans”:  Romans 1:14 dI am debtor both to the Greeks, and to
the
eBarbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.

Is this a bug in the app?

I don't know if it would be considered a "bug" or a "limitation" of the mobile app and/or iPad. I should point out that the text that you are referring to is actually the TITLE of the note, and can be changed to anything you want.

Alabama 24, thanks for your reply.

I will have to take some
additional steps to get to what I want to appear in the note files. Below I
show the differences between the app and the Logos 4 using only highlighting of
a selected bible verse without adding any notes.

     IPAD:

The first line is the title. The next
two lines are the content. They are listed where I would be expected to put a note.

12  qKiss the rSon, lest he be angry,

      And ye perish from the
    way,

sWhen his wrath is kindled but a little.

    LOGOS 4:

    12      Kiss
    the … but a little.

The above line is the title only. The content where I would
normally type a note is empty.

I wish that highlighting using the app would display just as
    it does using Logos 4.

    Also, I join
those who would like to see the note files on the iPad.

I have never heard back from Logos if this is a "bug" or a limitation of the app/ipad. I agree it would be good. [:)]

According to Bob, it is "coming soon."

Is there a beta in test now?  I haven't heard anything about upcoming releases since I got my iPad and started paying closer attention.

    Yes.

Logos does not post too much about upcoming iOS releases. Bob didn't give any time tables about upcoming releases, but said that note files were coming "soon."

    Hello,

Yes - the application is coming soon and will support Note Documents.

When will 3 be in the App Store? Does "soon" mean days, weeks, or months? Thanks.

Logos has submitted the app for approval. Apple is the gatekeeper. Although Logos doesn't anticipate any problems, the app must be approved first. This process can take days or many weeks, but is out of Logos hands. The app is likely to be approved, so it is just a matter of how quickly Apple approves the app. There is always the possibility the app could be rejected, however, for any number of Apples rules & regulations. It is my understanding, for example, that Logos had to resubmit an earlier build (2.x) because the home page had special promotion advertisement. Since Logos doesn't give Apple a 15% cut, the links had to be removed, and the app had to be resubmitted, starting the process all over again.

The app store on your device will show a badge icon, as it does for all other apps, when the new app is available.

[EDIT: This understanding was not based on any "inside" information, but is based on my own conjecture and a limited understanding of the app approval process. I knew the app had to be resubmitted, and that when the app was approved, the ads had been taken out. This happened when other apps were being forced to remove links to other web stores.]

I used to be, just stopped, an Apple IOS Dev. I know that drill. I am just excited to know that it has been submitted. Can't wait... I will be praying that the rest of the process goes easy for the sake of Logos devs. Keep up the good work.

I can't stop opening up the App Store "updates" screen. (It forces it to recheck).  I've had five other apps update this weekend.  Once, I got excited when I saw "Bible+", but that was the OliveTree reader.  Got to remember that Logos is "Bible!".  Crazy names.
